Have you ever wonder how people make money with articles? Keep reading because I’m going to show you exactly how easy it is to do that!

We’re going to throw away all the SEO mumbo jumbo you’ve learnt else where about high PRs, backlinks, and keyword density. You’re only concerned about getting the clicks and the sales.

This is going to be short so listen up! You’ll only be submitting to 3 article directories – GoArticles, EzineArticles and SearchWarp. Forget about the rest. Of course, I’m assuming you’ve already have a product in mind to promote and a direct (domain forwarding link) to the merchant’s site.

Remember NOT to use a direct affiliate link in your articles. Not only does it bring a low click-through rate, it is also no acceptable in most article directories. Here’s the meat:

1. Search for a low competition keyword in your niche. This is relatively simple to do, simply fire up Overture’s keyword suggestion tool. The magic numbers here to look out for are searches below 500.

2. Do a search on Google with the quotation marks wrapped around the search term. Say you found a phrase on Overture – “the best dog training tip in uk”. Search for the very phrase with the quotation marks in Google.

Look under the ‘results’ tab in the top right corner. Any number below 500 is good and would be highly optimization and profitable.

3. Find 5 other key phrases using the above method.

This is the important part.

4. Write 5 different articles under each of the different phrases and it is crucial that
you include the entire phrase into your title.

5. Submit the articles and you’re done!

As you can see, this is a very easy model to follow and profit from. If done right in right niches, it can bring in an additional income stream for you!

The sales page is even more important then the product itself. You can have the best product in the world but if you do not have a good sales page, no one is going to buy anything from you!

You won't make a single commission or sale whatever the promotional methods you use and however great the product is unless the sales page converts!

So What Should You Look Out For In A Sales Page?

Scan for payment leaks. Let me elaborate further - Many unscrupulous vendors have an added payment method on their sales page.

Now wouldn't that be good? More choices for the customers! Well not really...

Imagine spending so much time, money and effort driving traffic to the site only to have the customer buy through an alternative payment gateway in which you will NEVER get a penny!

Look out for the bonuses. Generally, strong bonuses convert more. Not just any hodge-podge of bonuses but good, quality bonuses that compliments the main product.

The use of headlines. Headlines are attention grabbers and actively seek out and engage the reader. Scan the page and see if any of the headlines stop you in your track. Take a mental note of the amount of pre-heads and sub-heads used.

Use your common sense. Bad language, poor grammar and unrealistic promises are a sure sign of a bad sales page.

Other things you can do and look out for:

-Email the vendor with a simple enquiry
-Ask customers or existing affiliates about the product
-Buy the product yourself. What's more convincing than a customer promoting a product that he has bought and used before?
-Ask in the related forums. Pose some questions; look for any one who has experienced problems promoting it etc...

How to Find Out What to Promote On Clickbank

One of the many mistakes that affiliate marketers do is not failing to acquire enough
knowledge. Rather, it’s not making something happen with the knowledge they have.

Step 1:
You go to Clickbank's marketplace and scan around the top 2 pages of each category. Take a look at the statistics of these products.By this I mean the gravity, the % referred, $ earned per sale etc...So you think you've found a good category to enter - Say Sports & Recreation. The next logical step would be to unearth a winning product to promote.

Generally, the top 5 products are extremely competitive and have tons of affiliates promoting it already. It would be quite difficult for you to take on the competition at this stage.

Step 2:
Click through to the next few pages and look for items with a reasonable % referred that isn't too high and a good gravity weighting. Broadly speaking, a % referred rate of more then 75% is high and anything with a gravity rating above 30 would be worth a shot.

Step 3:
Select 3 products that fits the criteria and choose from them. Click on "view pitch page" to see the sales page for yourself. It'll instantly become very clear to you which of the 3 sales page converts better.

First, I do a "look" around Clickbank Marketplace. I look from the first page (best sellers) onwards slowly to the back. You would notice that most are around the same niche but I need something different, something that is a niche and does not have many similar products in the Clickbank marketplace...

Other things to look out for:

1. Does the vendor provide a strong affiliate resources page?
2. Is the % earned per sale stat high? Generally, I'd never promote a product that pays below % 50 unless it’s a high ticket item.
3. Are there any payment leaks? Scan for them, it’s extremely important that you do this.

I've to mention there is no sure-fire way to select and pick products to promote.

Even if you follow what I say to the dot, you could end up picking a loser, the only 100% guaranteed way is for you to test it out - Find what works and what doesn't yourself...

I hope you'd have done some research on the keywords you'd want to rank
for with your articles. Because besides traffic from the article directories
itself,article marketing, if done correctly can bring you a steady stream of
free search engine traffic.

The way I do it:

I get 2-3 primary keywords for my articles.
These are keywords I've researched and found to be highly 'optimizable'
(Good Demand, Low Supply) These keywords are peppered discretly throughout my article.

Most importantly, I make sure they appear on the top and at the bottom of the article I then submit the individual article pages to the varios search engines...

You'll have to be sure not overdo it. That is, putting in your keyword in just about every sentence or paragraph. Search engines will identify that attempt as keyword 'spam' and it'll certainly not do your SEO attempts any good.

The trick is to strike a balance so that your keywords appear sufficiently enough for search engines to pick them up and appear infrequently enough to be not classified as 'keyword spamming'

Where To Go To?

My favourite place is ezinearticle.com, goarticles.com and searchwarp.com These are article directories with a high google PR and chances of your articles getting picked up by Google (or other search engines) are much higher.

You might be an affiliate looking for ways to increase traffic and increase sales. You might be a website owner looking to expand to your reach. Perhaps you sell an info-product and would like to see more traffic and more profits…

You may have already been using some of the methods listed here but are you using it right? Are you doing it correctly?

(1) Articles.
Writing articles may be seen as hard work. I won’t deny it, it can be quite tedious. BUT it has proven to be super-effective for me.

I’m a living example. A few months back, I created my own product.I had a few affiliates make a few sales but never quite enough. I’ve heard many good things about article marketing so I’ve followed a simple blueprint of writing articles and submitting them. The results: My sales were more then triple then all my affiliates’ sales added together!

I quickly sent a mailing to my affiliates telling them to model my success. They did and the results have been nothing short of fantastic.

I’m telling you this to show you that article marketing works. One tip I can reveal is that you must submit your article page (page where your article is) to as many search engines and directories and treat it like a normal website.

(2) Forums.
I wasn’t a big fan of participating in forums. I didn’t see the need to, and didn’t see the potential profits. How wrong was I!Just adding a simple link in your signature files AND asking/answering the right questions in the forums can bring a good stream of traffic to your site.

If you join the right forums (forums tightly related to your niche) and participate intelligently in discussions, you can expect to see a good flow of traffic from them

(3) Ezine Advertising.
Ezine advertising can be very profitable if you know what you’re doing. The most important thing to do is to make sure you track and test the results! I cannot stress it even more.

Say you advertise in 3 ezines – You make a profit of $200. Now that would be good right? So you go on advertising in these 3 same ezines in the next campaign……Only thing is you didn’t know one of the ezines, that costs $40 to run, brought in zero sales. If you’d track and test you’d know which ezines work and which doesn’t!

Remember to choose ezines that are closely related to what you’re promoting.

(4) Blogging.
Everyone blogs nowadays right?Well, at least that’s true with many successful affiliates.

The really smart ones know the power of having a blog. It’s free, it’s easy to set up, easy to publish and really quite easy to get a good ranking on the search engines.

Set up a simple “review site” or start an “article site”. The possibilities are quite endless, so are the monetization opportunities.

You can include affiliate links in your review, increase Adsense ads, incorporate a pay-per-lead program, sell advertising space etc…And that’s just setting up one blog. Imagine have 5 or 6 profit-pulling blogs. There’s so much you can do with free blogs!

5 Ways To "Force" Your list To Open Your Emails

Number 1 – Get your list to look forward to your mails

How do you achieve that? Firstly, you should start off by giving good solid content/information that your list would be happy to receive. Stick to doing this and you will never fail! In addition to that, add a “teaser” that will get them looking forward to your next mail. An example: “In the next issue, I will be revealing the single top most error made by email marketers and why you are still committing it! Do away with this and you can expect to at least have a 50% increase in response”

Number 2 – Craft a killer subject line

This should be the part you spend most time mulling over simply because it is that important to your whole email marketing efforts! No matter how good your email copy is, it won’t get read unless you have a good headline. One of the many tricks I can reveal is the “curiosity factor”. Humans are innately curious and just by piquing their curiosity you can create an “itch” in them – they would have no choice but to open your mails. An example: “I saw you the other day…”, “Did you mention something like that?”, “This is your own. I am giving it to you now”

Number 3 – Be consistent

If you are consistent your list will know what to expect and would easily recognize your mail. Whether it’s the “from” field or the way you write your messages, they recognize you and will eventually grow familiar to you.

How To Avoid Getting Your Adsense Account Terminated

Google, being the undisputable leader in search engines from then until now, is placing a high importance on the quality and relevancy of its search engines. Most especially now that the company is public property. In order to keep the shareholders and users of its engines happy, the quality of the returned results are given extreme importance.

For this same reason, doing the wrong things in the Adsense and other forms of advertisements, whether intentionally or unintentionally, will result in a severe penalty, may get you banned and even have your account terminated. Nothing like a good action taken to keep wrongdoers from doing the same things over again.

So for those who are thinking of getting a career in Adsense, do not just think of the strategies you will be using to generate more earnings. Consider some things first before you actually get involved.

Hidden texts. Filling your advertisement page with texts to small to read, has the same color as the background and using css for the sole purpose of loading them with rich keywords content and copy will earn you a penalty award that is given to those who are hiding links.
Page cloaking. There is a common practice of using browser or bot sniffers to serve the bots of a different page other than the page your visitors will see. Loading a page with a bot that a human user will never see is a definite no-no. This is tricking them to click on something that you want but they may not want to go to.

Multiple submissions. Submitting multiple copies of your domain and pages is another thing to stay away from. For example, trying to submit a URL of an Adsense as two separate URL’s is the same as inviting trouble and even termination. Likewise, this is a reason to avoid auto submitters for those who are receiving submissions. Better check first if your domain is submitted already an a certain search engine before you try to submit to it again. If you see it there, then move on. No point contemplating whether to try and submit there again.

Link farms. Be wary of who and what are you linking your Adsense to. The search engines know that you cannot control your links in. But you can certainly control what you link to. Link farming has always been a rotten apple in the eyes of search engines, especially Google. That is reason enough to try and avoid them. Having a link higher than 100 on a single page will classify you as a link farm so try and not to make them higher than that.

Page rank for sale. If you have been online for quite some time, you will notice that there are some sites selling their PR links or trading them with other sites. If you are doing this, expect a ban anytime in the future. It is okay to sell ads or gain the link. But doing it on direct advertisement of your page rank is a way to get on search engines bad side.

Doorways. This is similar to cloaking pages. The common practice of a page loaded with choice keyword ads aimed at redirecting visitors to another “user-friendly” page is a big issue among search engines. There are many seo firms offering this kind of services. Now that you know what they actually are, try to avoid them at all costs.

Multiple domains having the same content. In case you are not aware of it, search engines look at domains IP’s, registry dates and many others. Having multiple domains having the same exact content is not something you can hide from them. The same goes with content multiplied many times on separate pages, sub domains and forwarding multiple domains to the same content.

Many of the above techniques apply to most search engines and is not entirely for Google only. By having a mind set that you are building your Adsense together with your pages for the human users and not for bots, you can be assured of the great things for your ads and sites.
Not to mention avoiding the wrath of the search engines and getting your Adsense and site account terminated altogether.

rI am talking about some products that are being peddled and sold on Clickbank. I am a vendor on Clickbank myself and I know that having a quality product is one of the critical factors for success. It almost eliminates refunds, build customer loyalty and most importantly – get a hell lot of affiliates promoting it.

Think long and hard, is the product you are promoting even worth a single dollar?
What criteria should you set? Here are some free tips for you to get started

#1 What is the value of the product?
To find out the value of the product you will have to “use” the product. There are 3 ways you could do that. You could buy the product and use it OR you could request for a review copy OR you could ask existing customers. After you decided that it is a good product, you will need to find out if it SELLS.

#2 Does the webpage convert?
This is a little trick to find out because you do not have access to the vendors’ sale statistics but there are some methods you could use. Firstly, visit the sales page and gauge for yourself how persuasive is it. Secondly, visit its listing in Clickbank via the marketplace and check out the stats there. Is it selling? How many affiliates promoting it?

#3 What bonuses does it give?
Bonuses are an important part of the buying and selling process, for some it could be the pivotal point in the buyer’s decision process. Ask yourself; are the bonuses some crap thrown together? Are they of certain value themselves? Would you be happy with the bonuses if you bought?

#4 How much can you make?
What is the commission like? Do not just blindly select the one which pays the highest commission! You have to take into account the price, whether people will actually buy from the site. You would be better off earning a 50% commission on a $30 book selling 2 units a day rather then earning a 75% commission on a $100 dollar software that sells 2 units per month.

#5 What kind of affiliate resources do they give?
Email solos, banners, classified ads templates and articles are just some of the things you could utilize. What kind of resources do they provide? Do they offer any help? Are these resources easy to use and impltement?

One of the single most powerful and free ways to grab targeted traffic is definitely writing articles. Articles like this that you are currently reading serve many purposes.

Firstly, it establishes your position as an “authority” of the subject and also increases your brand name (or your name for the matter). Secondly, the link that is attached at the author resources box is intimately related to this content you are reading. People are more likely to buy after they are “warmed up” to the idea. I Should Be Stopped. Some of the Clickbank Information Here Is So Sensitive, It Should Be Made Illegal!

This is so important I had to mention it for the third time in three articles written purely on this. I had many affiliates and vendors sending me emails on my website, some of which are not suitable for reading. This is something affiliates must know

This is something many affiliates do not know yet know. It concerns affiliates and buyers alike. Do you notice when you visit most sales pages, they have an “affiliates sign up”, “make money here” or “earn money” link which brings you to their affiliate sign up page?

Imagine this scenario, Mr. Affiliate visits the site through your affiliate link, he reads the sales copy and is impressed but the price $97 is quite an obstacle. He sees an “earn money now” link and clicks as he has been searching for this information all day. He then realizes he could get at 50% discount with the commission if he signs up with clickbank and buys through his own link.

The vendors do not want this to happen right? Wrong answer! The fact is they had intended to sell at $48.5(50%) of the price and so intentionally set it higher at $97. In addition to that, the affiliate link was prominently displayed so visitors could easily see it and sign up and get the discount. This make the buyer thinks he has got into a “winning” situation but in fact the vendor got the sale he wanted and an affiliate at the same time.

So what does it mean to you? Shouldn’t you be happy that you can get a discount on almost all books now? Wait a minute, what if you spent loads of time and money promoting that product and the visitors click on that “earn money” link? Lost money, lost time and lost commissions.

Now you know why these “affiliates sign up” or “earn money now” links does not seem so subtle anymore.

Affiliate Tip 1
Scan the sales copy before deciding whether it is worth promoting. This is a vital, essential and crucial step you must make. Rate it and ask yourself how convinced you are on a scale of ten. Scan the page for any “Earn money” links.

Affiliate Tip 2
Credibility is important. Look at the testimonials; make sure it is not any dodgy testimonial from any Tom, Dick or Harry from some American state. Are there any photos and/or proof? Are they real people with real names and websites? Do a “mock” payment with your affiliate link all the way till they ask you for your credit card. Do you see your affiliate nick at the bottom of the page? You should be seeing it.

Affiliate Tip 3
Mail the vendor. See how responsive and how sincere he is in recruiting affiliates. This is the ultimate litmus test to determine if the vendor cares for his affiliates.

Be careful of Clickbank – The one secret I should not have disclosed!

Do you know you could have been duped unwittingly? It is not your fault; rather it is the vendors fault for deliberately deceiving you. But take heart, this is only the minority, most vendors are honest businessmen.

I have a secret I have got to reveal. Keep this to yourself. Do you notice when you visit most sales page, they have an “affiliates sign up” or “make money here” link which directs you to their affiliate sign up page? Imagine this scenario, Thomas visits the site through your affiliate link, he reads the sales copy and is convinced but the price $79 is a little steep. He sees the “affiliates sign up” link and clicks. He realizes he could get at 60% discount with the commission and so he signs up with clickbank and buys through his own link.

The vendors do not want this to happen right? Wrong! Fact is, they had intended to sell at $31(40%) of the price and so set it at $79. The affiliate link was prominently displayed so visitors could easily see it and sign up and get the discount. This make the buyer thinks he has got into a “winning” situation but in fact the vendor got the sale he wanted and an affiliate at the same time.

Armed with this knowledge you should be able to be more discerning when selecting the products to promote. That said, here are some ways which you can profit from Clickbank.

Tip 1
Criteria for selecting your products. Never select a product that is priced too high, pays out commission below 50% and a sales copy that sucks. Amazingly, there are affiliates promoting these products still!

Tip 2
Make full use of the resources page. They are there for a reason, they must be working otherwise or they would not have been there. That is not to say you can use your own promotional tools, by all means go ahead!

Tip 3
Getting traffic. There are many ways of generating traffic. One of them is by using Google Adwords. It is targeted and fast. Simple you create a mini course! A 5 day or 7 day mini course which offers them some valuable information on the product you are offering. Of course, for every mail you send, you must include your affiliate link in it. There are many auto responders that can do the job for you. Do a search around Google for them.

Number 3 – Create a mini review
It would be best if you buy that product and review it yourself so you would know you are promoting and would give better reviews. Another way of doing this is to lift off a few of the most outstanding testimonials from the vendor’s site to use it on your own. Keep it short and keep it sweet, do not overkill and overdo the reviews. A review is a good way to “soften” the visitors and make them more likely to buy. It is also in this review page that you should incorporate your mini course.

A tip, if you have made some sales already, you can email and ask them customers to give you a review in exchange for a bonus ebook or resource you give. This way, you would have testimonials that the vendor do not even have whilst your customers and happy with their extra bonuses. Truly a win-win situation!

What products to choose? That has been one of the single most asked questions from Clickbank affiliates because choosing the right product is absolutely crucial to success. Learn how.

Firstly, I would have assumed you have already signed up with Clickbank as an affiliate. If you have not, please proceed to their website to register.

Selecting the right product to promote. This is actually one of the trickiest to do. Do you select a popular one and risk being in an over-crowded market? Do you select a new product? But risk low popularity and sales? How about a “middle” product? And risk being mediocre? As you can see, it really takes a lot of skill and experience to select the right products.

Select a high paying enough product.
When I say high paying, I mean in terms of commission. How many percent do they pay you? 50% 55%? Rate it upon 10, how convinced are you yourself to buy? Certain stuff to look at includes testimonials, bonuses, pricing, layout etc…

Look at the stats generated for the vendor generated in Clickbank Marketplace.
It is almost a no-brainer that you have to come here to look at some very important statistics. It gives information on the percentage of sales made through affiliates, how recent sale were generate and the payout. What do I mean by this? Take for example, “soccer betting guides” and “bet on asian soccer matches”. These are 2 distinct phrases yet they are referring to the same product. If you group them under the same adgroup and dump all the keywords in, this would reduce click through rates and drive costs up. Instead set up an ad group just for “soccer betting guides” and in this group can be other words like “soccer betting tips” etc…

#3 Get Your Ad Bolded
This simply means including keywords which you added in your adgroup to your ad body. Taking the previous example, your ad body should have something like “looking for betting guides and tips?” So when users search for either the “soccer betting tips” or the “soccer betting guides” phrase they would see your ad in bold, making your ad stand out and increasing click through rates.

#1 Create a list with all possible keywords that fit to your product, service or whatever you are promoting. The more words you come up with, the more chances you get of finding the niche keyword which brings me to point 2

#2 Niche Keywords. Drill down deep into the word, expand on it. For example, if you are promoting affiliate products related to mothballs. Instead of just mothballs you can use mothballs for sale, mothballs for sale in uk, mothballs on the cheap , discount mothball etc… The possibilities are quite huge. Use a combination of misspellings, adjectives and country locations.

#3 Make use of excluding keywords. If you are promoting a particular product – say an ebook on making mothballs and it is sold for $100 dollars. You bided on the keyword “blue mothballs”. People searching for the term free blue mothballs would see your ad thus making it "clickable" and lowering its Click Through Rate. If you add a ‘-free’ it would eliminate unwanted advertising costs.

#4 I usually choose NOT to advertise on content opting purely for search as they are more targeted and is of higher quality. BUT if I am targeting a highly competitive area where ads are like $0.80 per click, I would turn on advertising for content while disabling adwords for searching(lowering bid price). I would have total control over costs while having traffic extremely cheap.

Number 1 – Targeting and Understanding Your Audience

Number 4 – Precise Landing Pages

Link to the direct page which is intimately related and relevant to the keyword you are searching for. Never never direct them to just the homepage, bring them to the exact page instead. Visitors never like to hand around long if they cannot see relevant content that matches your ad.

Google Adwords – A “Has Been”?

Many advertisers are suffering from huge advertising costs, potential click fraud and little to no return on investment. But on the other hand, there are a small percentage of people who use Adwords profitably, so much so that this is their sole source of income.

What separates them from the rest? I would not be able to comprehensively and categorically say I know what exactly differentiates them but I do know that they follow a few rules.

Rule 1.
Research your keywords. Qualify your traffic. You need to start off with a huge selection of keywords and slowly wither down to the most cost effective and relevant one. Say you promote widgets. You cannot just go biding on the keyword ‘widgets’ as it is bound to have loads of competition. What you can do is expanding on it, drilling down going deeper. ‘Buy blue and cheap widgets’. You may not get loads of searches but you know that it is very targeted and it is cheap.

Rule 2.
If you are selling something, make sure you weed out those who are looking for free stuff. One way of doing this is to include a ‘-free’ in your campaign so essentially all surfers searching for free + your keyword will not get to see your ad. Also you can include your price in your ad. True, it will reduce click through rate but you know that those who do click are more likely to convert.

Rule 3.
Include your keywords in your ad. Say you bid on the word ‘big black hairy wig’ selling wigs. It would be prudent to include big or black or hairy or wig. Best would be to include everything because your keywords in your ad gets BOLDED and people related it to relevancy.

Rule 4.
Your headline. Make an attention grabbing headline to attract people to see your ad. Your headline is the vital link to whether somebody clicks on your ad or not. To get some tips on writing compelling headlines, you can download a free copy of my report.

Building a great looking website stuffed full of content laden articles and almost always not enough to ensure success with Adsense. One of the most important things is you traffic, other small little thinks you do would also affect them.

If you are a small, independent web publisher like millions of other webmaster, publishing can be a great hobby and also a small business. In any case, it is always nice to see income streaming in from doing what you love.

#1 Contrast Your Link Color
If you background is white, make your link a contrasting and noticeable color. I have found blue to be one of the most effective and profitable link color as people traditionally associate blue links as ‘valid’ links.

#2 Vary Your Ad Formats
With the introduction of link ads now, give it a go! I found my link ads to perform not as well as my text ads but what is to say it won’t work for you? Place a few (not more then 4) vary differing ad format on a page. Wait and see which ones perform better then the other and further optimize it from there.

#3 Quality content
Content is king. I am sure you have heard of this term a dozen over times. Build a quality content site that is intimately related to the subject and keywords of you’re your theme. Stick to your theme tenaciously and remember to always build content that builds on your specific keyword you want.

#4 Building Traffic
You might think that you would have to get highly targeted traffic. It is not wrong and I see where you are coming from. But it is actually cheaper to get huge untargeted traffic rather then a small trickle of targeted but expensive visitors. When you are just starting out, do not be afraid to promote, cross promote and just blatantly promote across any medium that you deem would bring you traffic. Ethical means of course. The trick here is to go after and acquire any piece of traffic. You would be surprised at the percentage of clicks from untargeted traffic.

All You Need To Know About Adsense To Blast Your Income Sky-high!

These 7 direct to the point, no nonsense concepts and methods that you need to know and implement to make a decent perpetual income.

From my personal experience and from speaking with many other publishers, it seems that many of them cannot even garner enough earnings to trigger off a payment from Google (USD $100). This is really sad because many give up before even reaching the halfway mark. Imagine adding up all the quitters, the amount of advertising money Google would have pocketed without paying a cent!

Point #1 Find Your Niche.
You need to know about your topic or subject fully and be an at least knowledgeable on it. You write quality content, you get quality ads shown. It is as simple as that. If you really found profitable niche on but know nuts about it, you can always use free articles (like this one) and post them on your site with their links on them of course. It is a easy and quick way to get quality content to your site.

Point #2 Laser Focused Theme.
You need to fully concentrate on your topic and area of interest. Do not deviate from it even a single bit! The reason behind this is to get the MOST relevant ads to your content which in turn will be the most likely to interest the visitor and get clicked on.

Point #3 Website Navigation.
Do not trick the visitor, do not confuse the visitor, do not attempt to hide the ad but do not ‘blast’ the ad at the same time. Create your navigation in such a way that your ads appear unobtrusive and yet viewable. It is advisable to put more then one ad but do not cramp your page with ads, it turns the visitor off.

Point #4 Key Word Density
Although Google doesn't release exact details as to how they determine the ads to serve on a given page. We do know that content (and words) of the page that matters. Before serving ads on a page, then, you might want to check its keyword density to see what words pops up most frequently.

Point #5 Maintain Content Readability
Advertisements should not distract from your content, or else your visitors will be driven away. Make Adsense a cohesive part of your site design, not something slapped in at the last minute or some hastily put up page.

Point #6 Ask Them!
Google knows best about their own programs. Point #7 Do Nots.
Do no click on your own ads neither should you ask others to click on your Google ads. Do not manually change or modify you ad code. Do not place Google ads on sites that include prohibited/questionable content (e.g.: adult sites, hate sites) Do not employ cloaking, hidden text or farm links. Do not create a site just because you think you found high paying keywords and throw content in just based on them just for the purpose of profiting from them.
